Week 17 Loser Of Giants-Eagles Will Play In London In 2016
At this point of the season, the New York Giants & Philadelphia Eagles are just playing for pride. Both eliminated from the playoffs in week 16, they actually have something to play for in week 17. A Chip Kelly-less Eagles squad and a confusing Giants team are looking to avoid playing against the St. Louis Rams in a week 7 road game next year in London.
The Rams (7-8) are locked into third place in the NFC West, and the league has scheduled the third-place team in that division to face the third-place finisher in the NFC East in one of next year’s six London games.
If the Giants (6-9) fall to the Eagles Sunday, they’ll finish in third place in the NFC East. If they win, they’ll finish second, earning a trip to face the ever-dangerous Seahawks in Seattle.
