An ECHL Game Tallied Up 216 Minutes in Penalties after a Brawl (Video)
It’s hard not to enjoy a hockey game that has the equivalent of a Lord of the Rings film in penalty minutes. That’s what happened as the Tulsa Oilers took on the Rapid City Rush, when the Rush won 4-3, but only after 216 penalty minutes, of which 132 came after the final buzzer following a giant brawl that even saw goalies sucked into the violence.
As the game ended, a tussle broke out, which attracted some players from the bench, which then evolved into a three-minute-plus brawl that pretty much saw everyone fighting everyone.
