Rams DE Chris Long Uses Disguise and Fake Name to Buy PowerBall Tickets, Gives Hilarious Interview on Local News (Video)

chris long hopeful powerball player interview

There were three winners in Wednesday night’s record $1.6 billion PowerBall drawing. I was not one of them, you were not one of them, and St. Lou—er, Los Angeles Rams defensive end Chris Long was not one of them. Probably. But at least Chris Long had fun buying his tickets.

Apparently concerned that people in his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia, would recognize and mob him for selfies, Long, a zero-time All-Pro and zero-time Pro Bowler, dressed up in a disguise when he went out to buy tickets. Then, when it turned out that NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville was at his local store covering the PowerBall frenzy, Long agreed to do an interview.

Unfortunately the reporter wasn’t fooled by the alias. But the interview was still AMAZING. Take a look:

Long may not have won $528.8 million last night. However, with the Rams moving to Hollywood, maybe Long can pursue an acting career. It worked for John Matuszak.
