The Broncos Are Only Selling Tickets for the AFC Championship to Buyers with a Regional Zip Code
This seems to happen every year, and every year, it reflects poorly on the teams that do it. The Denver Broncos have been trying to keep Patriot fans out of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at Mile High Stadium by only selling to people with an area-specific billing zip code on their credit card.
The good news (if there is any here) is that, since the team is relatively isolated, they can cast a wider net without fear of getting any Patriots fans in the mix. The area includes Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah, western Kansas and Wyoming. A far cry from when Seattle wouldn’t even sell to northern California to prohibit 49ers fans from taking over their precious stadium.
