Evander Kane and Alex Petrovic Drop the Gloves THREE Times in One Game (Videos)
The Florida Panthers may have smoked the Buffalo Sabres on the scoresheet Tuesday night. But at least Sabres forward Evander Kane won all three of his fights against Panthers defenseman Alex Petrovic.
That’s right. Evander Kane and Alex Petrovic dropped the gloves not once, not twice, but thrice.
The first two fights came eight minutes apart in the second period. The Panthes had built a big lead early in the game, which had deflated the Buffalo crowd. However, by the time the second fight was over, and Kane held up his fingers to indicate that he was 2-0, the crowd was right back into it.
The third fight came midway through the third period and saw both players earn game misconducts and unsportmanlike penalties for removing their helmets. But at least they went out with a bang. Fight number three was easily the most fun to watch.
According to Sportsnet, the last time two players fought three times in one game was 14 years ago.
Evander Kane & Alex Petrovic are first pair of players to fight each other 3 times in a game since Bob Probert & Jody Shelley on Jan 10 2002

Of course, unlike Probert and Shelley, both Kane and Petrovic actually scored goals on Tuesday night:
What are the chances of this ever happening again?
