D-League Team to Wear Obama Jerseys for Black History Month (Pic)

The Utah Jazz D-League team, the Idaho Stampede, are donning some new uniforms in honor of Black History Month. On February 20th, the players will be wearing jerseys emblazoned with the likes of Maya Angelou, Barack Obama, and Frederick Douglas on them.

Their faces will be laid against an all-black background, and all three likenesses are the work of artist Patrick Hunter. He will also have on display (though not on the court) the faces of Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Ray Charles, Coretta Scott King and George Washington Carver.
