Charles Barkley Makes Fun of Oklahoma During March Madness Broadcast (Video)
TNT studio hosts Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley had to step in and provide emergency play-by-play for Sunday’s second round game between Northern Iowa and Texas A&M when the broadcast truck in Oklahoma City lost power.
The bad news? He did insult all 3.9 million men, women, and children who reside in the great state of Oklahoma.
Apparently Sir Charles was bitter that his churro break was cut short by technical difficulties. So he took it out on Oklahomans, calling them “country bumpkins” and claiming that cow-tipping is their favorite pastime.

Let’s all hope Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook stay healthy and the Oklahoma City Thunder reach the Western Conference Finals so Barkley has to pay a nice long visit to the Sooner state. That should make for a few pretty great NBA on TNT segments.
