UNC Coach Roy Williams Slices Finger While Cutting Down the Net (GIF)
In nearly three decades of coaching the Kansas Jayhawks (1988-2003) and the North Carolina Tar Heels (2003-present), Roy Williams has put together quite the resume, winning seven conference tournament titles, two NCAA Tournament Championships, and making his eighth Final Four appearance after last night’s Elite Eight victory over Notre Dame.
By now, you’d think he’d have that whole net-cutting thing down pat, right? Apparently not.
While cutting down the net after UNC’s 88-74 win over the Irish, Williams slipped on the ladder and sliced his finger pretty good.
How good? See for yourself:

Should the No. 1 seeded Tar Heels win it all, let’s hope it doesn’t come at the expense of one of Roy Williams’ fingers.
