Patrick Kane Scores in Double-OT, Blackhawks Stay Alive With Game 5 Win (Video)

Patrick Kane Overtime Winner vs Blues

Trailing 3-1 in their first-round series against the St. Louis Blues, the Chicago Blackhawks needed a win in Game 5 in order to keep their hopes of winning back-to-back Stanley Cups alive.

Things were looking good after two periods, as they held a 3-1 lead.  But two Blues goals in the third forced overtime.

Then, during the second overtime period, after both teams had battled tooth and nail for 83 minutes, 7 seconds, Patrick Kane ended the contest (but not the series) with some impressive stick-handling and a bit of luck.

The Blues still lead the series, but that lead is now only 3-2.  Game 6 is set for Saturday at 8pm ET in Chicago.
