Doc Rivers Compares Steph Curry to Kendrick Perkins in Craziest Analogy Ever
The Golden State Warriors will be in tough for the next couple of week, as they will have to make do without the services of Steph Curry after the reigning NBA MVP suffered a sprained right MCL.
Losing your best player during a playoff run is never an easy thing to overcome, but the Warriors aren’t the first team in NBA history who have had to overcome this type of adversity. Back in 2010, the Boston Celtics had to overcome the loss of Kendrick Perkins in Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
I know what you’re thinking right about now: “Comparing Kendrick Perkins to Steph Curry? Really?” Seems ridiculous, right? Well apparently that sort of comparison wasn’t too ridiculous for Doc Rivers, who had the following to say when asked about Steph’s injury and its possible effect on the Warriors:
Doc Rivers on Curry: “It happened to us. In 2010 Kendrick Perkins was hurt for Game 7.” Mr. Rivers, are you f*** kidding me??

You can add that comment to the long list of dumb things we’ve heard coming from the mouth of the Los Angeles Clippers head coach.
