Two Dead Bodies Found at Talladega After Race

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series GEICO 500

Looks like Dale Earnhardt Jr‘s steering wheel mishap wasn’t the most frightening thing that took place at Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend after all.  Not even close.

One man in attendance for Sunday’s Geico 500 returned to his trailer after the race, only to find his two friends dead.  The two men were said to be dead for 6 to 7 hours when they were discovered.  No foul play is suspected and it is also believed that this is not a case of carbon monoxide poisoning.

When asked whether drugs or alcohol were involved, NASCAR officials told TMZ to contact law enforcement for that information.  They have yet to receive a response.
