Social Media Reacts To Toronto Raptors Twitter Acct Complaining About ‘USA’ Chants In Cleveland
On Tuesday, game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Toronto Raptors broke out a quick 7-0 lead…aaaaand that was the highlight of their night. The Cleveland Cavaliers rolled them all game long to a 115-84 win.
Towards the end of game, Cavaliers fans broke out a ‘USA’ chant that the Raptors Twitter account did not appreciate.
Social media responded just as you thought, harshly:
@Raptors Would you rather us chant you fucking suck?

I remember the @Raptors GM saying “Fuck Brooklyn”. So NBA fans chant “USA” all you want and don’t worry about sounding “Classy”.

@Raptors How can USA be classy with Trump running for President?
