Tampa Bay Lightning Turned Their Rink into a Mario Kart Course (Video)
Projection technology has become so good in recent years that there’s really nothing you can’t turn a dark, flat surface into. And of all the things you’d want to look at, wouldn’t a Mario Kart course be pretty close to the top of the list? I would imagine so.
And so would the Lightning. Few teams remain in the NHL playoffs, so those that do would like to draw a little attention to themselves, and this looks like a pretty great way to do that:

I guess the only real danger here is that fans get so sucked into a giant Mario Kart race that they don’t want to go back to watching hockey, causing the Lightning to become a victim of their own success when it comes to intermission entertainment.
