If You’re Not Rooting for the OKC Thunder, You Will Be After You Meet Mini Steven Adams (Pics)
The Oklahoma City Thunder have a 3-1 lead over the Golden State Warriors, a 73-win team that many consider to be one of the greatest NBA teams of all time. And almost nobody saw it coming.
I mean, I kinda saw it coming. After the Thunder beat the Spurs, I thought they could give the Warriors a hard time and possibly even win. But I did not think they would open up a 3-1 lead.
So how did they do it? How did the Thunder beat the Warriors in Game 4, which no team was able to do during last year’s championship run?
Some would probably say it’s karma—you know, that whole Draymond Green kicking Steven Adams in the nuts thing. But that’s not it. The truth is the Thunder have a secret weapon: Mini Stephen Adams.
Much like Mini Jose Bautista, who dressed up like his favorite player and used some kind of adorable kiddie voodoo to help the Toronto Blue Jays win the ALDS last year, Mini Stephen Adams—whose nickname is Lil’ Stache Bro—dressed up like her favorite player and sent the Thunder some positive vibes by posing for adorable pics outside the Chesapeake Energy Arena before Game 4.

With Lil’ Stache Bro on their side there’s no way the Thunder can lose. Unless, of course, the Warriors send a Mini Draymond Green to Oklahoma City to kick Mini Steven Adams in the crotch and reverse the mojo.
