Insane Video: Motorcycle EXPLODES During Spanish Motorcycle Race, No Serious Injuries (Videos)
Some insane video out of Motorland Aragon in Spain on Sunday as a motorcycle explodes into a huge orange fire ball right in the middle of the track during the FIM CEV Repsol International Championship Moto 2 class.
The incident occurred when racer Xavi Cardelus lost control of his bike coming out of a turn. As you will see in the video below, Cardelus wipes out on the outside edge of the track, but his bike flips into the middle of the track, and the impact causes the fuel tank to break off. Then it explodes like a chase scene in an action flick when another race hits it with his bike.
Take a look:

Incredibly, nobody was seriously injured in the blast or resulting crashes. In fact, according to Fox Sports, everyone but Cardelus restarted the race after crews cleaned up the mess.
And here I thought the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 was the biggest story in motorsports this weekend. Obviously I need to watch more motorcycle racing.
