Steelers LB Vince Williams On Dead Gorilla: ‘He Was From Cincy, I Didn’t Drop One Tear’

Pittsburgh Steelers v New York Jets

Pittsburgh Steelers LB Vince Williams is no stranger to controversy. Back in November, when Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict knocked Steelers’ RB Le’Veon Bell out of a game and ultimately out for the season, Williams took to Twitter to threaten him.

“I catch Vontaze on south beach im painting that boi on sight.”

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past week, I’m sure you’ve heard or seen the video of the 3-year-old boy who fell into a gorilla enclosure and dragged around until the Gorilla was eventually put down.

Well, Willaims decided to use that tragedy to take a shot at the Steelers’ hated rival, the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Gorilla was from Cincinnati. I didn’t drop one tear. He in a better place now.”

He deleted it after catching heat on Twitter for it. He tried his best to save face with his next few tweets, but the damage was already done.
