Matthew Dellavedova Leaves NIKE For Chinese Company; Set To Release ‘Delly 1’ Sneaker
First off, who even knew Matthew Dellavedova was signed with NIKE to begin with? That’s the power of being teammates with Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James.
For whatever unknown reason, Cavs SG Matthew Dellavedova decided to leave NIKE so he could sign with PEAK, a Chinese shoe and apparel company.
Cavs guard Matthew Dellavedova leaves Nike and signs a 3-year shoe deal with Chinese brand Peak.
His “Delly 1” shoe will launch July 1.

Dellavedova’s signature shoe, the “Delly 1,” will be released in his home country of Australia later this year.
“Matthew offers the type of characteristics that we want people to associate with our brand,” said PEAK Australia managing director Greg Bickley. “He is already such a fantastic role model to the basketball community in Australia, and it’s our hope that through this global partnership with PEAK, Matthew will become a household name throughout the 70-plus countries that PEAK are located in.”
