Footage Released Of Cavs’ J.R. Smith Altercation With Teens Outside Pizza Shop (Video)
Way back in November, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ J.R. Smith was accused by a teen of choking him after he heckled the NBA star outside a pizza shop in New York. Justin Brown, 19, was teasing Smith about his midseason trade from the New York Knicks to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014.
When it happened, Smith’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, had this to say:
“The allegation is completely false; he didn’t choke him,” Spiro said. “There is no arrest warrant issued for Smith. I don’t expect him to be arrested.”
The teen is currently suing J.R. Smith for $2.5 Million.
