Draymond Green Played Football at Michigan State One Time, and He Was Really Terrible (Video)
Back in 2011, when he was just a junior at Michigan State and not one of the NBA’s premier nutwhackers, Draymond Green actually suited up for the Spartans football team and took a couple of snaps at tight end during a spring intra-squad scrimmage.
He was wise to stick with basketball.
The Big Ten Network dug up the footage of Draymond’s two snaps with the Spartans football team and tweeted it out on Tuesday. The guy was absolutely terrible. On his first play he was flagged for a false start. On his second he was flagged for interference. And he also looked really slow for a tight end.
Take a look:

Yeah, not pretty.
“It’s never as easy as it looks,” Green said at the time. “I thought I knew what I was doing, until I got jammed at the line of scrimmage. It’s not easy. It’s like basketball. It looks easy, but it’s not.”
Then he concluded, “I think I like my future in basketball a little better.”
Warriors fans are definitely glad he reached that conclusion.
