NASCAR Fight! Drivers Go MMA on Each Other on Track After Wrecking Twice at Camping Truck Series Event (Video)
Things got heated at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event on Saturday. After running into each other twice during the race, John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher decided to get out of their trucks and settle a dispute with their fists.
Townley and Gallagher ran into each other the first time on lap 149 of the Drivin’ For Linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park outside St. Louis. When they ran into each other again on lap 153, ending their nights, their tempers got the best of them.
Upon coming to a stop at the bottom of the track near the infield, Townley popped out of his car first and immediately started barking at Gallagher. When Gallagher raised his arms and started barking, Townley jumped him and got in a few good licks. Gallagher responded by busting out some wrestling moves he probably learned in high school, and he managed to get a few good takedowns. However, Townley eventually got him in a headlock and landed a few more punches before letting him go.

There’s no way that is “one of the greatest fights in sports history,” as ESPN’s Darren Rovell claims. But it was a lot of fun.
