Somebody Made a Super Mario Soccer Game and Added that Epic Iceland Goal Commentary (Video)

Somebody made a Super Mario soccer game with Super Mario Maker on Wii U, and it’s absolutely incredible.

If you’re not familiar with Super Mario Maker, it allows you to create your own custom levels for Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U system. Then you can share them online so other users can download and play them.

Needless to say, a lot of really cool, imaginitive levels have been created since Super Mario Maker came out last fall. However, none of them can compare to the Super Mario soccer game created by user Umut_POW, presumably in honor of Euro 2016. In it you have to give Mario a helmet and nudge one of those spiky fire turtles across an underwater level that looks like a soccer field and into a goal at the other end. There, the spiky fire turtle is crushed by a falling stone, and Mario gets a key to complete the level.

If that doesn’t make sense, just watch the video below from YouTuber likeandooTV, who takes the liberty of adding that awesome Iceland goal commentary to the end:

It’s stuff like this that makes you glad the internet exists, isn’t it?
