Ayesha Curry Says She Regrets Her Social Media Rants During The NBA Finals
Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors PG & 2-time NBA MVP Steph Curry, is a regular fixture at every Warriors game and it’s never been any controversy surrounding her until the 2016 NBA playoffs.
After Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Ayesha was not pleased about the refs and pondered on Twitter:
Can refs get fined?

Then after the Cavaliers forced a Game 7, she sent social media into a frenzy after these comments:
On Wednesday, Ayesha spoke out about her controversial tweets and regrets what she wrote as it was in the heat of the moment.
“I’ve always wanted to live unapologetically,” Ayesha tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday. “I’m proud of my family and proud of the people around me. That’s why I share our lives on social media, because they make me happy.”
“I was just a fan in that moment so I didn’t think about the ramifications,” she says. “I regret the way that I voiced how hurt I was. I felt hurt for [Steph], and I didn’t mean to offend anybody. Obviously, what I wrote is not what I think about what he does for a living.”
