Shanghai Striker Demba Ba Suffers Horrific Leg Break in Game (Video)
Shanghai Shenhua striker Demba Ba was enjoying a terrific season, but it’s been cut short in gruesome fashion as he suffered a broken leg on the pitch against Shanghai SIPG. The injury came after he collided with a defender, causing his leg to very visibly snap.
It’s among the worst leg breaks we’ve seen in soccer.
He was the leading scorer in the Chinese Super League, having scored 14 goals in 18 games. Those stats likely aren’t moving any more this season, as the recovery time for the broken leg is at least six months.
