Meet German Field Hockey Players Linus BUTT and Florian FUCHS (Pic)
With thousands of athletes from all corner of the world, there is never a shortage of funny names at the Olympics. However, sometimes there’s just no substitute for good old fashioned serendipity.
On Saturday, Germany and Canada kicked off the men’s field hockey tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics. The Germans won by a score of 6-2 (again, this was field hockey), but nobody really cared about the outcome—not after German field hockey players Linus Butts and Florian Fuchs were shown on TV standing next to each other with their backs to the camera.
Yeah, you see where I’m going with this.
Take a look:
Apparently the German men’s field hockey team are Butt Fuchs. Who knew?
You gotta love the Olympics.
