This Terrible Instructional Song Played in the Diving Stadium Might Be the Single Worst Thing about the Rio Games (Video)
Sure, people are getting mugged, water’s turning unnatural colors, and brand new buildings are falling apart, but it took us until today to find the absolute worst thing about the Olympics.
It’s this song, played in the diving stadium:

It’s a bizarre take on “We Will Rock You” that’s much, much worse. I don’t know the title, but “Let’s Get Into It” is a safe bet, although I can’t really tell you what that phrase means.
The song, aside from being just awful on its own merits, also instructs fans to clean up after themselves, just like every other good hype song does. It also suggests you thank volunteers, which is another thing you normally don’t hear in a song.
Judging by the video above, this thing was played pretty damn loud. Let’s hope all those subjected to it are recovering safely at home.
