Nick Diaz: Conor McGregor Hit a Kid with a Water Bottle at UFC 202 Press Conference
According to Nate Diaz‘s brother, former UFC fighter Nick Diaz, Conor McGregor hit a kid during the water bottle fight that broke out at the UFC 202 press conference on Wednesday.
McGregor and Nate Diaz were supposed to be on stage together for the press conference promoting their highly anticipated rematch this Saturday. However, McGregor wasn’t there when the press conference started, so Diaz started taking questions by himself. When McGregor finally arrived 30 minutes later in a blatant attempt to show up Diaz, Nick urged his brother to leave.
That’s when things got really heated. At first it was just a lot of f-bombs and insults, but before long both entourages were throwing bottles at each other.
After the skirmish Nick Diaz ran into a kid in the audience who said he was hit by a bottle thrown by McGegor, so naturally he Snapchatted a quick interview with the alleged victim.
Take a look:
Of course, video of the incident clearly shows that Nate Diaz is actually the one who fired the first shot in the water bottle battle. And obviously it’s only a matter of luck that the Diaz entourage didn’t hit a kid with a bottle. But sure, Nick, what the hell? Let’s go ahead and blame it on all Conor McGregor.
