Former Raiders QB Todd Marinovich Arrested After Being Found Naked and On Meth
Todd Marinovich washed out of the NFL in fairly spectacular fashion after making a name for himself at USC. He quickly turned to drugs when he became pro (if he hadn’t already) and the pressure of the league, coupled with his substance abuse issues, made short work of him in the NFL.
However, he had been doing well recently, having been sober for three years. But on Friday night, police responded to a call of a naked man in a backyard and found Marinovich, sans clothing, on meth. They arrested him for possession of a controlled substance, trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. TMZ says he was cooperative, which was good, and he’s since been released.
Obviously, the clock starts over on the 47-year-old’s sobriety, but hopefully, he’ll be able to move past this embarrassing setback.
