Jeff Fisher to Coaching Staff: Gurley Doesn’t Need To Be F*cking Hit In Practice (Video)
Head coach Jeff Fisher is well aware of his reputation around the league for having teams with a record of 7-9 year in & year out, and he wants to change that mindset this upcoming season.
While most coaches do whatever they can to protect their starting quarterback in practice, Jeff Fisher clearly knows who’s the alpha dog on offense and it’s his second year running back Todd Gurley.
On HBO’s Hard Knocks on Tuesday, Fisher made it very clear to his staff that Todd Gurley is not to be hit, tackled, or even touched while on the field.
