Jerry Jones Is Pissed At Ezekiel Elliott For Visiting A Marijuana Dispensary
Before Thursday’s preseason game that featured the Dallas Cowboys & Seattle Seahawks, rookie RB Ezekiel Elliot was spotted & recorded in a marijuana shop called “Herban Legends” in Belltown. While he didn’t purchase any weed related products, perception around the league, with fans, and most importantly with the league office will be is that he’s a frequent user of marijuana that will cause problems in the near future.
One person who isn’t particularly happy with this is the guy who signs his check, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones who had this to say about his rookie running back in a weed dispensary a day before a preseason game vs. Seahawks:
“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones said, according to ESPN. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”
“That’s a part of just really getting the big picture here,” Jones said. “No matter if you played at whatever level, there is a picture here of interest. So again, I’m aware of it. I heard the report. I would know how he is, and he needs to look at that. And the other thing is it’s just not good.”
