Blake Bortles Gives Brutally Honest Interview After Pathetic First Half Against Bengals (Video)
Technically the Jacksonville Jaguars won their preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. But neither the coaches nor the players are treating it like a win.
The Jags third- and fourth-stringers beat the Bengals third- and fourth-stringers in the fourth quarter, outscoring them 15-0 to give Jacksonville a 26-21 victory. But if the entire game had been played by the starters it would have been a completely different story. Because the Jags starters sucked. Starting QB Blake Bortless was 10/16 with 52 yards. Top RBs T.J. Yeldon and Denard Robinson had 52 rushing yards combined. And top WRs Allen Robinson and Rashad Green combined for 16 receiving yards.
But don’t just take my word for it. Take Blake Bortles’ word.
“I don’t think they did a whole lot of things to stop us,” Bortles said during his brutally honest halftime interview. “We played pretty bad at every position. And usually that’s what happens when you play bad—you don’t score a lot of points.”

The Jags may have new uniforms this year, but it sounds like the on-field performance is going to be pretty much the same.
