Brandon Marshall: ‘Like It or Not, This is A Civil Rights Movement. It’s a Civil Rights Issue” (Video)
New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder back in 2010 & co-founded Project 375 to help promote awareness of mental health, absolutely agrees with 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick taking a stand (no pun intended) for what he believes in.
On Tuesday, Marshall blasted former NFL QB Boomer Esiason for his negative reaction to how Kaepernick was protesting and stated he was “100 percent wrong”.
“This guy, he is one of the biggest patriots out there. Because he’s standing up for human rights,” the Jets’ receiver said Tuesday on WFAN’s “Boomer and Carton.”
On Wednesday while speaking with local reporters, Marshall stated how he had been watching old Martin Luther King speeches and how he spoke his mind and spoke it out of truth and love.
“Like it or not, this is a civil rights movement. It’s a civil rights issue.”
