Century Link Terminates Brandon Marshall’s Contract After He Kneeled During National Anthem
Thursday night was the official opening of the new NFL season that featured last year’s Super Bowl participants, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, and the controversy started before the game had a chance to kick off.
Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall was seen kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem just like his former teammate at Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick did during a preseason game against the Chargers.
Last Friday, Marshall lost his endorsement deal with Air Academy Federal Credit Union.
On Monday, Marshall’s contract with Century Link was also terminated because of his decision to kneel during the anthem.
