Herm Edwards: Rams ‘Set Offensive Football Back 50 Years’ (Video)

Well, the Rams made their debut after returning to LA, and…it wasn’t pretty.

After getting lots of attention after moving to Cali and receiving the featured slot on HBO’s Hard Knocks, the team seemed unable to get anything at all going on the offensive side of the ball.

Herm Edwards took an opportunity to point this out during the halftime show in some of the strongest words possible, claiming the 87 yards they garnered was…crappy. His exact words?

I don’t know exactly what it means, but it’s not very good. When you’ve got one of the best running backs in the league in Todd Gurley, and he’s only netting 47 yards, you need to change things.  Even if it’s just week 1.
