Oregon Ducks Delivered a Touching Tribute To Nebraska’s Late Punter Sam Foltz
Back in July, Nebraska Cornhuskers punter Sam Foltz tragically passed away along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler after a car accident in Wisconsin.
About two weeks ago, the team wanted to honor their fallen teammate by sending out a punter-less punt team against Fresno State and taking a delay of game penalty.
On Saturday, before the start of the Oregon Ducks-Nebraska Cornhuskers match-up, Oregon players placed flowers on the field to honor Sam Foltz, and purposely put them on the 27-yard line in a tribute to Foltz, who wore number 27.
