Cleveland Browns Lose game on Worst ‘Taunting’ Call in History (Video)
After taking a 20-0 lead early in the first half, the Cleveland Browns looked as if they were well on their way to a victory against the Baltimore Ravens…
And then the Browns remembered they were the Browns.
It started after a Browns touchdown, when their PAT was blocked and returned for 2 points. And it all went downhill from there.
The Browns didn’t score another point for the rest of the game after that 20-point 1st quarter, and what made it much worse was the refs throwing a flag for the worst ‘Taunting’ penalty that has ever been called.
With 26 seconds left in the game and driving down the field for a potential game winning TD, WR Terrelle Pryor made a catch and got out of bounds around the 10-yard line. As he was getting up, he proceeded to throw the ball to the ref, but it slipped and hit a Ravens defender in the head, causing the ref to throw a flag.
A Ravens defensive holding call offset both penalties and the Browns ended up throwing an interception to end the game.
