Floyd Mayweather’s Pop Warner Team Is Now Kneeling for the National Anthem (Video)


As if Floyd Mayweather doesn’t find enough ways to ruffle the feathers of sports fans and decent people everywhere, it now seems the Pop Warner team he sponsors is taking a knee during the national anthem.

There’s no indication that Mayweather himself is behind the decision, as he really only bankrolls the team from Vegas; the coach said the kids, who are six years old, said they understood why Colin Kaepernick was doing it, and agreed with his reasoning.

If they did realize that, then those are some truly gifted and insightful six-year-olds. If they didn’t really have an opinion (more likely) and are just being told what to do for some coach or parent’s political gain, then…gross.

It’s hard to imagine these guy have an opinion of the world at six, but I don’t want to jump to conclusions.
