Report: Washington Redskins S DeAngelo Hall Has a Torn ACL
Coming off their first victory of the year against the hated NFC East rival New York Giants, the Washington Redskins were on cloud nine after avoiding the dreaded 0-3 start.
That win came at a big cost, as it was reported on Monday that Redskins veteran safety DeAngelo Hall tore his ACL during the game and is likely out for the season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

DeAngelo Hall tells me MRI is complete he completely tore his ACL. He has to wait until swelling goes down before Dr. Andrews can do surgery

Hall will turn 33 later this year and is currently on a deal that will pay him $5 million next year. Washington can save over $4 million by cutting him before next season begins.
