Browns Twitter Acct Trolls NFL With Electric Football Gif To Avoid Being Fined
About a week ago, the NFL sent out a memo that teams can and will be fined for violating a newly introduced part of the league’s social media policy.
“Violations of the policy will cost teams up to $25,000 upon the first instance, up to $50,000 the second time and up to $100,000 for each additional violation of the policy.”
On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns scored against the Tennessee Titans. To avoid being fined for posting a video or gif of the touchdown, the Browns’ social media person posted a gif of the Browns scoring on a electric football table instead.
