Seahawks DE Bennett Calls Jake Matthews a ‘Little B*tch’ For Cut Blocking Him
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett didn’t get to enjoy the thrilling second half win against the Atlanta Falcons as he took a shot to the knees in the first half from Falcons tackle Jake Matthews.
During the third quarter, a questionable unpenalized cut block from Matthews had Bennett in pain, forcing him to leave the game as a result. And he was not to pleased about it after the game.
“HonestIy, I think if you have to dive at someone else’s leg, you are a little bitch,” Bennett told Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times about the block he defined as “a scary bitch ass move.”
“If you are big in the NFL, you just line up and play – why you got to cut someone on the (expletive) play? I mean, I don’t know. That (expletive) is just stupid to me. Why cut somebody when you can just line up and win? I don’t know. I don’t come off the ball jumping at offensive linemen’s legs. … I think it’s just a bitch-ass move, personally.”
