Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Rejects Endorsement Deals And His Reasoning is Perfect
After losing QB Tony Romo in the preseason to yet another injury, it was looking like a gloom and doom season for the Dallas Cowboys. That was until rookie QB Dak Prescott stepped under center. He teamed up with running back Ezekiel Elliott to help lead the Cowboys atop the NFC East with a 5-1 record as they head into their bye week.
The rookie 4th round pick from Mississippi State now owns the record for most passes without an INT to start an NFL career and has the Cowboys’ front office confused on whether they should put Romo back at starter with the way he is playing.
The rookie is all about football and sleep, and he showed that when he turned down tickets to a Kanye West concert weeks ago to watch Thursday Night Football and “get more sleep.”
Most rookies on high profile teams have endorsements coming at them left and right and Dak is in the same situation, but instead of cashing in on them, it was reported he’d rather spend time with his family instead.
.@Dak Prescott is passing up couple of lucrative marketing deals to spend several days w/ his grandma in Louisiana during Cowboys bye week.
