Suspects Arrested, Super Bowl Ring Recovered in DeMarcus Ware Home Robbery
While Denver Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was busy helping his team destroy the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football at Mile High, three men were busy breaking into his home and taking, among other things, his Super Bowl ring.
On Wednesday, it was announced by the Denver Police Department that they had arrested multiple suspects in connection with the home burglary and recovered all of Ware’s belongings, including that Super Bowl ring.

Ware had not been notified about the arrests and recovery when Broncos practice had ended on Wednesday, but he did mention there was a burglary and everything was being handled.
“(It’s) the first time something like that has happened,” Ware said. “… I feel like when people going through your things, it’s like vandalizing your stuff.”
“Not about material things, it’s about you going through my stuff, you’ve been in my house … it doesn’t feel like home any more … Things happen, you’ve just to be positive and move on.”
Asked if he thought it would be difficult for a thief to sell a Super Bowl ring with Ware’s name on it, he said: “I don’t know if he’s unloaded it or not. I’m just glad I wasn’t in there when he was because I would have sacked him … Things happen.”
“You always worry about safety because my kids are there sometimes,” Ware said. “… I just take it day to day and think about it … and try to put it on the back burner.”
