Warriors Players Are Getting Annoyed By The Cavs Trolling Them For Losing 3-1 Series Lead
This past weekend, LeBron James and the Cavaliers held a Halloween party that had a few parting shots at the Golden State Warriors.
One was a skeleton playing a ‘3-1 lead’ drum kit to remind them of what they overcame and what the Warriors lost during last season’s NBA Finals.
The other was a pair of cookies that had R.I.P Klay Thompson and Steph Curry on them.
ESPN’s Chris Haynes caught up with a bunch of the Warriors players and asked them about the Cavaliers trolling them. Not surprisingly, they didn’t like it one bit.
“Draymond Green just flashed a massive smile when ESPN asked him about James’ skeleton prop.
“More power to them,” he said. “I already got enough fuel. I don’t need more. Enjoy.”
Klay Thompson, visibly irritated by the subject, sternly told ESPN, “Man, I don’t care about that.”
Curry was clearly trying to hold back his tongue before offering up, “I’m just going to keep it quiet.” He then proceeded to shake his head and giggled.
“I’m a basketball player, bro. I’m a basketball player,” Durant told ESPN. “If you’ve got any disputes or any feuds or anything with anybody that plays the game, let’s just check it up. That really don’t mean s— to me, all the jokes.”
“It is what it is,” Livingston added. “All it is is more fuel for the fire. That’s it. We’re not going to say, ‘All, that’s great, we like it.’ But it is what it is. It’s part of the sport.”
If only we could fast forward to the NBA Finals so these teams could face each other for a 3rd time already.
