Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors had a 3-1 lead over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals. Then, somehow, the team that lost just nine games total during the regular season lost three games in a row to the Cavs and saw a second consecutive NBA championship slip through their fingers.

The collapse was agonizing for the Warriors and their fans. And since then nobody has let them live it down, least of all the people of Cleveland, who have been going to great lengths to troll the hell out of the Warriors.

Now, though, the shoe is on the other foot. On Wednesday night, the Cleveland Indians pulled off a 3-1 collapse of their own, giving the Chicago Cubs their first World Series since 1908. And the Warriors? They were not in a magnanimous mood.

We’ve already seen what former Warriors assistant and current Lakers head coach Luke Walton had to say. Let’s check in with Draymond…

Yep. This guy knows. 3-1 sucks.

Of course, history will always remember the Warriors as bigger chokers. They were a 73-9 juggernaut, one of the greatest pro sports teams of all time. They were the favorites. While the 3-1 World Series collapse was painful for Indians fans, they can at least comfort themselves with the knowledge that they were supposed to lose to the Cubs all along.
