Game 7 Loss Didn’t Stop Mike Napoli from Partying Shirtless in Downtown Cleveland (Pics)
On Wednesday the Chicago Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians in extra innings of Game 7 to win their first World Series since 1908. For the Cubs, who had trailed 3-1 in the series, it was a historic comeback. For the Indians, who have not won a World Series themselves since 1948, it was a heartbreaking defeat.
Cleveland first baseman Mike Napoli has experienced a heartbreaking World Series loss before. In 2011 he was a member of the Texas Rangers team that was one strike away from a championship not once but twice in Game 6, only to lose that game and the next to David Freese and the St. Louis Cardinals.
So how did Napoli handle this week’s heartbreaker? By partying his ass off at a Cleveland casino and wandering around downtown Cleveland shirtless. Naturally.
Here he is posing for a photo with a fan at Jack Cleveland Casino:
So many questions as to why Mike Napoli was walking around downtown Cleveland without a shirt on… pic.twitter.com/R96jJCK8PX
