Terrelle Pryor Thinks The Browns Can Win 7-Straight & Make The Playoffs
Back in September, with a record of 0-3, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor believed the team could run the table and still salvage the season by going undefeated.
“We’re so close to getting over that hump,” Pryor said, via Cleveland.com, this week. “Once we get over that hump, I think we’re going to have a lot of success, even this year … I think we can win all the rest of the games. It depends on our mind set. It depends on how we look at it. It’s just one week at a time.”
Six games later and the Browns are 0-9, facing off against AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night. Before the game, Pryor again stated he believed this team could still make the playoffs by winning 7 straight and making it in with a below .500 record.
“We just have to keep fighting,” Pryor told the Browns Radio Network on Thursday. “At the end of the day, I still look at it like we have a chance to make the playoffs. It’s gonna start this week. I mean if we lose (to the Baltimore Ravens the chances) probably dwindle down. But you never know.
“If we can some way … if something just clicks with us and we can win seven in a row, you never know what can happen. That’s the exciting part and maybe something we can aim for.”
The Browns haven’t won a game since week 14 of the 2015 season, and they haven’t won multiple games in a row since weeks 8-10 in 2014.
