Cleveland Cavaliers and Michelle Obama Do Mannequin Challenge at White House

The mannequin challenge is a little played out if you’re a regular person. At this point nobody has any interest watching you and your friends freeze at the mall, or you and your kids freeze at the dinner table, or any other ordinary scenario you might come up with.

If you happen to be famous or extraordinary in some way? Different story. The other day the Michigan men’s gymnastics team did the mannequin challenge, and it was totally awesome. Similarly, on Thursday LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers did the mannequin challenge…at the White House…with First Lady Michelle Obama, which was also awesome.

The Cavs were at the White House for their customary championship visit with President Obama. During a break in the formal proceedings, they did the mannequin challenge with Mrs. O in the “Diplomatic Reception Room.”

Like I said, nobody cares about regular people doing this stuff. But the First Lady and LeBron at the White House? That’s amusing. Take a look:

I’m a little disappointed they couldn’t get President-Elect Trump (still a very weird phrase to write) in on the action. But I guess he was busy taking measurements for all the classy marble columns and chandeliers he’s going to be installing.
