Tom Brady for President? Vegas Oddsmakers Say QB Has Better Shot than Gary Johnson or Jill Stein
Donald Trump won’t even be sworn in as President of the United States for another two months. However, for some reason, people everywhere just cannot seem to stop fantasizing about who might take his place.
Earlier this week Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said he “wouldn’t rule it out” when asked about running in 2020. Now, despite the fact that he’s never given any indication that he’d ever like to run for office, and the fact that he’s still a very successful NFL quarterback, the bookies at Bovada in Las Vegas have set the odds for Tom Brady winning the White House. And they’re not terrible.
According to Bovada, Tom Brady is a 100-1 longshot to be elected president in 2020. However, when you consider they have Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 300-1 and Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson at 500-1, Brady’s odds are actually pretty good. And when you really think about it, Brady would make a pretty great president. He’s handsome. He’s rich. And he’s the greatest Patriot of all time.
See what I did there? Good pun, right?
As for The Rock, Bovada also has him at 100-1, along with outspoken Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
