Dallas Cowboys Fan Names His Three Kids After Team (Video)
No matter the team, there is always a few in the fan base that take their fandom to extreme levels that can be quite disturbing at times.
Before the Dallas Cowboys took on the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving, devoted Cowboys fan Raymond Ortiz did an interview with a local news channel and he talked about how he loved his team so much that he named all three of his children after the squad.
“This is my 10-year-old daughter Star. This is my 9-year-old Dallas Cowboys and this is my 3-year-old Cowboy Landry. Say hi Cowboy,” said Raymond Ortiz, 41.
Seriously. He even showed us legal proof.
Wednesday night, at his home, friends and fellow fanatics gathered for a moment they haven’t experienced in years.
“We didn’t expect to be 9 and 1 – especially after Tony Romo went down in Seattle,” added Ortiz. “Some people like big houses. Some people like going out to restaurants. Some people like shoes. Some people like clothing. Me? I love my Cowboys!”
So much so, he just got them tattooed across his chest. Part of the Dallas skyline, the blue star and Dak Prescott along with the new quarterback’s mom who died three years ago.
“He plays for his mom. He doesn’t want to fail his mom. It ain’t that he wants to fail Jerry or the Cowboys, he doesn’t want to fail his mom,” explained Ortiz.
He said he’s putting Jerry Jones in ink soon.
“I mean it’s only going to get better from here you know. The season’s perfect,” said Abel Salazar, another Cowboys fan. “Even when they lose we are still going to represent them. We are going to have a party even if they lose because of the simple fact we are still America’s team.”
