Cuban LB Kiko Alonso Tweets Image Of Him Crushing Colin Kaepernick For Supporting Fidel Castro
Fidel Castro, Cuba’s longtime dictator, passed away at the age of 90 on Friday night, and thousands of people in Miami celebrated in the streets.
As luck would have it, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick was in town for a week 12 contest against the Dolphins. Back in March he wore a shirt with Castro’s image on it. He also had some suspect comments about the guy who murdered thousands and kept many in poverty.
“One thing Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here even though we’re fully capable of doing that,” Kaepernick said.
On Sunday, the Miami crowd showered Kaepernick with a chorus of boo’s anytime he touched the ball. On the final play of the game, Kiko Alonso, whose parents both hail from Cuba, destroyed Kaepernick when he tried to run it in for the tie, and he enjoyed every bit of it.
He quickly took to social media to post this photo:
