NFL Players Reveal Custom Cleats They’ll Wear in Week 13 for NFL’s “My Cleats My Cause” Campaign (Pics)
The No Fun League has finally come to its senses and agreed to stop fining players for wearing custom cleats that raise awareness for charitable causes…at least for one week.
As you probably know, the NFL has a long, sad history of issuing exorbitant fines to players who violate the league’s uniform and equipment rules, even if it is for a good cause. However, this year Roger Goodell and company decided to give players a one-week free pass to wear cleats that raise awareness for social causes. They’re calling it the “My Cleats My Cause” campaign, and according to a report from USA Today last month at least 428 players have signed up.
Now, as teams around the league prepare for Week 13, a lot of players and charitable organizations are revealing the custom cleats fans can expect to see out on the field.

This week is a big one for the @nfl and sneaker customizers like myself. The #mycausemycleats campaign is brilliant. It allows players across the league to help raise awareness to whatever cause that touches them personally. I’m fortunate to be able to work with an amazing organization in @warriorwishes along with @bengals TE @tylereifert for this special pair. Here’s just a sneak peek of these beauties. ——————————————– [email protected] I do not discuss pricing on IG,,,email me for a custom or restoration quote. #nicekicks #kicksonfire #complexkicks #nikenate #angelusdirect #kykickfest #859approved #msxsneakers #swiftkickz #truebluecustoms #kicksfeed #customkicks #aceofcustoms

I hate to give the NFL credit, but this is actually a pretty great idea. Let’s hope this is only the beginning.
